Performs variety of complex supervisory, administrative, and technical work in the development, installation, and maintenance of LAN and WAN systems. Participates in the study of vender products to determine those which best meet County needs. Assist in presentations of information to management resulting in purchase and/or installation of hardware, software and telecommunications equipment.
Handles and resolves customer complaints; responsible for grant applications and budgets; Negotiate Heartland Service contracts; Performs accounting functions, prepares reports, responsible for billing. Oversees the duties of the Operations Manager, Bus Mechanic and other staff. Serve on public transportation related boards and advisory committees.
Performs routine professional legal work involving legal research, precedent problems and solutions of enforcement problems, jury and court trials, appeals and contested cases. Assignments are usually specialized as to type such as criminal prosecution, tax work, condemnation work or human services agency work.
