The Chisago County Sheriff's Office offers a Driver Awareness Program (DAP), a traffic diversion course to educate drivers in areas of traffic safety and traffic laws. This program has been a huge success and well received by the public and our criminal justice partners. Courses are held on designated Mondays, at 7 p.m. sharp, in the lower level of the Chisago County Government Center, which is located at 313 North Main Street in Center City, Minnesota.
Complete the Chisago County Driver Awareness Program (DAP) and have:
NO Court Appearance;
NO Entry on Your Driving Record (Conviction), and most importantly;
Improve your driving habits
Registration and receipt of payment must be completed within 14 days of receiving your citation. If you choose the optional diversion program, you must attend the course prior to the court date assigned to you on your citation.
To attend, you must pre register.

Bring your citation and driver's license
Call 651-213-6399 within 14 days of receiving your citation (Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) and $75 check or money order MUST be received within 14 days of receiving your citation.
