Fish Lake Park, Harris

About the Park

The county’s most popular swimming beach - be prepared for crowds on hot summer weekends. Other summer activities include fishing, hiking, picnicking, volleyball (net provided, balls are available upon request when staff are on duty), softball, horseshoes (horseshoes not provided) and playground. In winter, Fish Lake is popular for ice fishing and the trail is open for cross-country skiing. There is a boat access at the park. Modern restrooms open during summer park hours, along with a changing area, and portable restrooms are also available during the summer season. There is a $3 per vehicle parking fee charged Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, Memorial Day through Labor Day. No charge for parking Monday - Thursday year round.

152 acres on the east shore of Fish Lake. 1-1/2 miles west of Harris exit 152, head west on Stark Road, then south on Elmcrest Avenue.

Picnic Shelter Reservations

To reserve a park shelter, fill out a shelter reservation form. Also see frequently asked questions. Shelters seat approximately 75 people. Modern restroom facilities are available, open noon to 10 p.m. There are 2 shelters available at Fish Lake Park. Both shelters have electricity and are handicapped accessible. These shelters are reserved on a first come first serve basis.
