    • Participating pregnant women will be offered a personal breastfeeding appointment with our nurses to learn how to breastfeed. The nurses will also answer any questions you may have. For more information, questions about feeding issues, pumps and equipment, contact either:

Insurance coverage for pumps varies, however renting or buying electric pumps is generally cheaper that the cost of formula. Medical Assistance (MA) and MinnesotaCare (MNCare) cover personal electric pumps, with order by licensed provider, under mom or baby’s name, due to separation from baby for: work, school or illness.
Outpatient Lactation Clinics
