The Auditor-Treasurer's Office administers the county functions of Federal, State and Local elections. This process involves registration of voters; candidate filings; ballot layout; electronic tabulation programming; election judges training; absentee voting administration; election day signature rosters; election night results; abstracts; maintaining voter history and administering county recounts. This office is a resource to cities, townships and school districts in the election process.
When are elections?
Township elections are held annually on the second Tuesday in March with the exception of Nessel & Lent Townships, which holds their election during the general election in November.

Federal, State, and City elections are held every two years.
